For Children

Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB) and Gold King Charitable Trust recently jointly organised a health awareness programme and free medical camp for children and women in the New Parakinkal community at Paalkulam. The event took place on March 18th, 2023, at around 10:15 am, in collaboration with Gerdi Gutperle Agasthiyar Muni Children and  Maternity Hospital in Vellamadam. During this successful medical camp, the doctor from Gerdi Gutperle Agasthiyar Muni Children and  Maternity Hospital identified eight malnourished children. As part of their commitment to supporting the community’s health and well-being, the Gold King Charitable Trust stepped in to provide nutrition assistance. On March 29th, representatives of the trust including Community Participatory Assistant Mr. Immanuel, Director Ms. Cathrine Mary, and Volunteer Mr. Santhosh Kumar distributed nutritious food material to each child’s parents worth Rs 1000 per child. The kit included essential ingredients such as green gram, red gram, groundnuts, dal, ragi powder, wheat, rava and ghee.
