A person informed about a woman, mentally ill person from Kaval Kenaru who was in Anna Bus Stand and asked support to arrange shelter for her on 16.03.2023 at 2.30 pm. So, Mrs. D. Cathrine Mary, Director of Gold King Charitable Trust met the woman at 3.30 pm in the Anna bus stand with the volunteer and Police officer of Kottar Police Station.
Then Director discussed with the woman who shared that she has two daughters who are in the children’s home and her husband was neglected. So, she was depressed and left home and came Anna Bus Stand. She also asked support to arrange shelter in a Home for mentally ill women. So, the Director carried the woman in the auto from Anna Bus Stand and produced her on the same day in a Home at Paalkulam near Thadikarakonam. The mentally ill woman received shelter, care and protection through the Gold King Charitable Trust and she was feeling happy. A month after, Director spoke with the warden of the Home. The warden shared that she was reunited with her family with the support of them.
