Tuition Centre

• To establish tuition centre and to provide educational assistance / support to orphans, students from the lower strata of community and students from economically weaker section who cannot afford to get themselves educated, to take up education, by paying tuition fees, examination fees, uniforms, books, bags etc.

On the occasion of its 5th Annual Day, held on 30th January 2025, the Gold King (GK) Charitable Trust established the Star Tuition Centre at Azhickal, located in Kanniyakumari District. A rental agreement for the premises, situated at 24/13, Middle Street, Near Vicariate Bank, Azhickal – 629202, was formalized on the same date.

To ensure quality academic support for local children, the Trust appointed a dedicated team of four trainers at the centre, which includes one Programme Coordinator cum Trainer and three additional Trainers on 01.02.2025. This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities for children in the Azhickal coastal region and and personal growth for children.

Totally around 68 children enrolled in the academic year 2024-2025 from February 2025 to March 2025. There were 2 children from 1^st Std, 1 child from 2^nd Std, 3 children from 3^rd Std, 9 children from 4^th Std, 3 children from 5^th Std, 6 children from 6^th Std, 9 children from 7^th Std, 16 children from 8^th Std, 8 children from 9^th Std, 4 children from 10^th Std, 3 children from 11^th Std, 4 children from 12^th Std. Totally 68 children benefited in the academic year 2024-2025 through this Tuition Centre.
