Skill Development programme during Celebration of Children’s Day

Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB), Kanniyakumari District, Gold King Charitable Trust, Kurusady and Y’s Men International, District I jointly organized Children’s Day Celebration and drawing event to develop drawing skill and to think about “Importance of Education” on 14.11.2023 around 4.30 pm at New Paraikankal.

During the programme, education kit in a pouch such that chart, pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener and crayons were provided for the children with the support of Y’s Men International (District 1, Zone 1, SWIR). The programme was facilitated by Ms. D. Cathrine Mary, Managing Trustee & Director of Gold King Charitable Trust, Kurusady. 55 Children participated joyfully in the drawing  event. Around 110 participants including  children at New Paraikankal participated during the Children’s Day programme. Children and parents of the community received awareness to educate their children. This programme was created good rapport among community, NGO and TNUHDB Department.
