Cleanliness and Plastic Free Community

Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB), Kanniyakumari District, Earkai Paathu Kaappu Sangam and Gold King Charitable Trust, Kurusady jointly organized awareness programme on Cleanliness and Plastic Free Community on 16.03.2024 around 3pm at New Paraikankal, near Vattakotai.

Mr. Jebin Deva, Community Officer welcomed the participants. Mr. Raja Kolbal AEE gave presidential address. Then Mrs. Janaki president of Anjugramam gave chief guest address and explained about need of cleanness in the community. Mr. Rajesh Director of Earkai Paathukaappu Sangam explained about plastic pollution. Ms. D. Cathrine Mary, Director of GK Trust gave felicitation of the programme. Then the community members clarified their doughs. Finally, the programme ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Jebin Deva, Community Officer. 35 participants participated in the programme. After the programme, the community members, volunteer of Earkai Paathukaappu Sangam and cleaning staff members removed all the plastic papers and cleansed the surrounding of the community.
