Awareness programme for girl children

Gold King Charitable Trust teamed up with CHILDLINE-Kanniyakumari to hold an Annual Day awareness programme on January 30, 2023. The aim of the event was to educate girl children at Govt. Hr. Sec. School about the importance of education in their lives, child safety and sexual abuse prevention measures, as well as how to use helpline numbers such as women's helpline number, child helpline number and helpline number (7010363173) to report drug sales in society. The programme saw a total of 115 girl children and 11 adults in attendance including Mr. Valivelu, HM of Govt. Hr. Sec. School who graced the occasion as chief guest while Mrs D Cathrine Mary (Managing Trustee and Director of Gold King Charitable Trust), five school teachers, three team members from CHILDLINE-Kanniyakumari along with a MSW trainee were also present at this successful event!
