Awareness Programme on Let’s Protect Nature

Department of English (SF), Holy Cross College (Autonomous) and Gold King (GK) Charitable Trust jointly organized an
awareness programme on Lets’ Protect Nature in the St. Soosaiyappar Karunai Illam at Punnai Nager, Holy Cross College Road, Nagercoil on 10.02.2024 at 10 am in Kanyakumari District.Rev. Sr. Stella Mary, Incharge of the Home welcomed all the
participants. Ms. D. Cathrine Mary Managing Trustee and Director gave keynote address. Then the children drew a drawing about Nature with the motivation of students of Holy Cross College. After the drawing, children shared about their experience on drawing event. The one of the college students created awareness and gave information about protection of nature.

During the programme, 26 college students, 2 staff members of Holy Cross College, 27 children, a home Incharge person and a managing trustee of GK Trust participated in the programme and Totally 57 participants benefited through this programme. The programme facilitated by Mrs. D. Cathrine Mary, Managing Trustee of GK Trust.
