Our senior citizen welfare program has addressed the issue of hunger among roadside seniors who are often neglected by their families, while our women’s welfare and community development programs focus on identifying and addressing the needs of the community. We firmly believe that women and children are valuable resources in any community, as well as future leaders of our nation. It is imperative that they do not suffer from distress or malnutrition. Awareness programs have been implemented to educate the community about critical issues such as child marriage and drug abuse prevention. It is imperative that children, who are the future generations of our community, are informed about their legal rights, protected from sexual abuse, and equipped with knowledge on health-related issues.
- Our awareness programs have successfully reached children at schools and railway stations, providing vital information on their legal rights and protective measures to prevent sexual abuse. These programs have also encouraged a balanced diet and raised awareness on emergency helpline numbers for use in crisis situations. In addition to these initiatives, medical camps were held to support the well-being of both children and women in need of emergency medical care. During these camps, malnourished children were identified and provided with nutritious support from Trust. Parents received updates regarding their child's health status while also gaining access to important resources for themselves. Gold King Charitable Trust collaborates closely with colleges, government departments, and NGOs in order to raise awareness about women's rights as well as child-related issues within the wider community. College students serve as volunteers during this developmental process, providing important support through education programmes.
